First you have to turn it off while holding the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time. Then you have to hold the home button while connecting the iPod, to your computer then release the button when Connect to iTunes appears. Then it will enter onto recovery mode, and then the only option is to restore.</p>
<p>This will erase everything on your iPod and restore it back to factory settings.</p>
